Dear All, Please find attached below the first version of the NECP timeline and some explanations in order to make it easier to understand. The tab "Inputs_processed" contains the inputs (requests) from the instrument teams after iteration with them. This information is translated into the "Summary" tab following the logic of the examples at the end of this email (and explained in the legend of the summary tab): Time granularity is 1 hr Ground station pass duration is 10 hrs., from which 8 hrs maximum can be dedicated to payload interactive activities. No interactive operations have been scheduled during weekends The use of the Cebreros ground station has been assumed, but this could be subject to negotiations/change. Other ESA deep space stations could be used. The 10hrs CEB allocation in the visibility window could vary We are aware that the following activites do not appear in the Summary tab: RPW-1 (First switch on & in-flight Short Functional Test), RPW-2 ( I-Boom Deployment Observation) RPW-3 (RPW Antennae Deployment) MAG-1 (Instrument power-on) MAG-2 (Observations during Instrument Boom deployment) The scheduling of these activities has to be further iterated/discussed due to other implications and on-going updates of the deployment sequence. We would appreciate if you could review carefully the timeline and provide comments by December the 5th. Many thanks in advance for your support and collaboration. Best regards, José Luis. P.S. Examples for interpretation of the Summary table: Example-1 Activity EPD-1 from the "Inputs_processed" tab appears in the "Summary" tab as ID-1. Each instrument has a colour code. The colour code for EPD is yellow. Interactive activities are scheduled under ground station visibility Cells under ground station visibility are shadowed with dots. Activities requiring interactivity (as ID-1) have a red diagonal. Activities requiring a special pointing have their borders marked with dashed line. Example-2 When deemed necessary the activities from tab "Inputs_processed" have been sub-divided according to the numbered list appearing in the activity. for instance actvity RPW-6 (Inter-Instrument Interference Campaign) has been subdivided into 5 sub-activities, namely IW-61(Successive switch ON of instruments) , IW-62(All in-situ instruments ON (remote sensing OFF)), IW-63(All remote sensing ON (in-situ OFF)), IW-64(All instruments ON), and IW-65(Interference campaign with the platform).
