Page about the RPW low rate configurations.

Description

The low-rate configurations are designed to perform optimal science data acquisition with a very degraded telemetry rate allocation.

Assumption

The current rate constraint is fixed to 2.4 kbps (i.e., 40% of RPW EIDA rate) of data over a day, which corresponds to the   to  period in the Feb. 2020 launch scenario.

Possible instrument states

Set of "low-rate" configurations available (in progress):

Associated scenarios
