Comments from Xavier:
First draft of the payload commissioning planning has been sent to the instrument teams (IT) as an Excel file. Xavier has fowarded the Excel file to the ROB (a copy of the file is also attached at the bottom of this page). The MOC asks to IT to send feedbacks before .
Sylvain Lodiot (MOC) has confirmed that it should be possible to downlink SBM data during commissioning (see action

Xavier highlights that the RPW-5 activity cannot be performed during the commissioning phase. On the MOC planning, it is planned on , but the S/C is supposed to cross the Earth lobes on according to Olga's computation (see SCM Noise Measurement Campaign Operation Plan), which is one day after the launch! It will be thus ask to MOC to remove this activity from the commissioning planning and to shift this operation during the Earth flyby (planned ~1.5 year after launch, just before the start of the nominal phase in the 2020 Feb. launch scenario).
Xavier reminds that although the RPW-5 activity is postponed, we still need to provide the associated TC sequences to MOC before the end of 2018! Both RPW TC sequences for Near Earth Commissioning Phase (NECP) and Cruise Phase (CP) shall be delivered to MOC and tested during SVT1 next year.
Matthieu proposes to no use SBM_DETECTION mode, since it will be difficult to retrieve SBM1 data during this operation. ROB members agree with this proposition and SURVEY_NORMAL mode will be then used.
Main goal of this activity is to run all of the RPW and other In Situ (IS) instruments (SWA, MAG and EPD) in the NORMAL mode (nominal "default-science" configuration) for at least 24h.
This new activity shall be requested for commissioning before the MOC deadline on .
Xavier thinks that other IS instrument teams should at least be awared of this request before the deadline.
A first set of RPW TC sequences for NECP and CP will be sent within few days to MOC by Diane and Antonio. According to MOC, the last chance for sending RPW TC sequences for commissioning is the end of 2018.
Xavier highlights that teams also must to send to the ROC (Diane, Antonio and Xavier) their needs concerning regular operations to be performed in the nominal timeline. For instance, TDS team has requested to have at least every month a TDS diagnosis (i.e., execute the TC_TDS_PERFORM _DIAGNOSIS). Additionaly, for now the ROC planned to run the following operations every week: Bias sweeping/calibration, SCM/LFR calibration, THR calibration, Bias current setting, TDS TSWF dumping (and SBM data downlinking requests). Do the teams need other extra regular operations?
Low rate configuration
Jan would like to slightly increate the TDS TM contribution to the low rate
Jan will send to Diane and Antonio his tailored version of the low rate calculator Excel file, containing proposed upgrade
Diane and Antonio will then update the configuration and corresponding sequences

Jan will send a Doodle to find a date for the next ROB telecon. (Should be planned if possible before the MOC deadline)
Xavier will prepare the meeting note for this telecon
